A request
I have a series fic in the works. I'm actually quite proud of what it might become when I look at my outlines. Anyway, right now, it's looking to be 30 chapters, although it may end up to be less because I want each chapter to have 2500 words.
Anyway, the reason I bring this up is because I need a beta. Someone posted a request for one on monaboyd a while back, and blackbird_song offered, but was turned down because someone else had already taken it. I really like her work, and I might just ask her, but first I want to know if any of my friends here want to do it. I just really want to see if anyone would be interested in doing it, and I'm trying not to think of whom I would want from my flist (though it is hard), so I'm open to anyone.
Anyway, if you've read thus far and are interested, the Prologue is almost written. I have a fic challenge where a fic is due by the 18th, and although the prologue itself doesn't exactly fufill the prompt to my recollection, I haven't checked lately, so it might. I'm going to post it saying that it can be seen as a One-Shot, because in a way it is. But it does set the ground work for the story. Anyway, I guess I'd send you chapters as I completed them, but I'm not going to post until I'm all done (because that is working so well, and plus, if the bunny dies midstory, at least I don't leave people hanging.
Oh, and some basics about the story to help you determine if you are interested.
Title: Something Blue. (I think this is the best. I also considered 'Broken Road' and 'Halfway to Four Weddings')
Pairings: BB/DM, but also DM/EL... It's not exactly showing that relationship in a good light. But in no way am I victimizing Evi. At least as far as I can remember. I don't really want to, so if I planned to do that I will probably revise it in order that I not.
Summary: I'll just say that it has two weddings within the chapters.
I would really appreciate any help you want to give. Even if you just want to say that you don't like title or something... *shrug* If none of you guys are interested, that's okay, I'll figure out what I want to do from there. I guess in all actuality, I'm looking for someone to just be my beta, in the long run, but don't think that if you do this story for me that I'm expecting that.
