Everyone loves gangsta rap?????
So, I am at the dentist today for my 6 month cleaning and what is playing over the airwaves? Gangsta rap. Not what I would expect to hear. It cracked me up. There aren`t even any gangstas working there...most of the people are from India. Go figure. My teeth are clean, no cavities but a bite plate was recommended...as always...bc I apparently grind my teeth like crazy in my sleep. Soon I will be left with nothing but nubs. Gotta get a bite plate.
Yesterday I hungout with Gayle in Long Beach. We went shopping on and around Pine Ave and got rained on. We went to a Crowne Books thats going out of business and I got a book of Salvador Dali postcards for 5 bucks and 2 cute Spiderman books for D`s little nephew.One is called Spiderman Doctors and starts out,"It is the city`s Skateboard Championship.Spiderman is patrolling the park to make sure that everyone is safe." How cute. Then we went to Ross and bought little yard knomes like in Amilee. We found a store called Fashion Island with all really trendy accessories cheap. I got a second generation Chanel knockoff ring for 11 bucks. I love it! I saw a white gold knockoff in downtown LA for 800 bucks and really wanted it but the second generation 11.00 is even better. It is a wide silver band with 2 c`s back to back in "diamonds". Ohh lala....so ghetto fabulous. Gayle gave me the prettiest little necklaces for Xmas. A silver and stone horseshoe and a wishbone. They are so delicate. I don`t have any dainty jewelry. It was a great day, and she is a great friend.
At night was my salon Xmas party. It was a lot of fun and the wine was a flowin....a bit to heavily I must say.I was quite wasted by the end of it all. I hate that....now I am embarrassed...although D and Ryan and Steph said I didn`t do anything crazy, which is good. There always has to be that one drunk person at the party every year...I guess it was me this year. Last year it was Rikki. We`ll see what everyone has to say tomorrow.
D and I are going to have our Xmas dinner tonight(bc we have no other night to go) and then go to a movie. I love date night! I love my man. He rocks.
