(no subject)
wednesday i saw mo. we met up after he got off work. how insane is this: there was a fire on the b train line near brooklyn bridge at 615PM. i got on the q at 550PM. it was about 610PM when the train started to move super slow and i was getting really annoyed 'cus we were meeting at 630PM. to avoid going across the bridge, my train went as the R and it made all the stops so i didn't get out of the train til 640PM. but, PHEW for not being involved in that mess. it was fun. we walked around a bit, and stopped at a starbucks to talk. doug called and invited us over to his apt so we did. it was real good seeing him. he lives in sunnyside queens. his place is nicely decorated as usual. we watched office space and ate pizza he had ordered. then we up to the roof to smoke. at 11PM doug was going to bed so mo and i left. we went to 42nd and walked around there a bit. i got home at 230AM that night.
thursday dan arrived around 930-10PM.
friday started off early. dan woke me up at 845AM. we left the house at 12PM. we were in manhattan by 115PM. we got off at union square and i had to find a HSBC to pay my credit card bill. we found one on 6th and 14th. then i went into urban outfitters and fell in love with a hat. but i can't find the hat on the website now. we walked around washington square park and went into tower on broadway and stopped at starbucks for coffees and try to find out where people were. alla was in soho already so she came in and met up with us. susan was on her way to meet sharon and walk around central park and mo was at work. the 3 of us walked around; we went into blick, andromeda (where the tattoo artist is a bastard and i hope they give someone a disease so they have to shut down forever), and the most amazing japanese store in the area. they sell my favorite yogurt drink and fish sausages i thought i could only get in Hong Kong. we walked to chinatown and went to my dad's salon b/c i wanted alla to meet tyler for the first time ever. he and my brother were getting haircuts. then at 6PM we ate dinner at joe's shanghai. we took the train down to 14th from canal to meet susan. alla had to go back to andromeda to fix the faulty lipring so it was just me, dan, and susan for about 20-30 minutes. the 4 of us walked over to bleeker and went into a bar/lounge 1849(?) and had some drinks. mo and sharon were at the theater on 34th to see snakes on a plane. they finally arrived at 11PM on west 4th to meet up with us. susan left shortly after for home. b/c we didn't want her to be on the LIRR at 1AM for an hour. mo took us over to down the hatch and we stayed there the remainder of the evening. around 1230AM we all left for brooklyn. alla came home with me and i drove her back to her house. by the time i got home it was 2AM-ish.
saturday was a lazy day. dan and i woke up around 11AM. we ate sushi my parents brought back from dinner and i took a nap. i woke up at 230PM. we left for my brother's around 4PM and got there almost 5PM. my brother had ordered pizza and wings from pizza hut. lucia made us sticky rice to eat as well. we watched the wiggles with tyler for 2 hours. tyler loves dan! at 745PM my parents called and told us to come home b/c they wanted to take dan out for dinner. we ate malaysian food, and it was damn good. we got back and dan pretty much passed out by 1130PM.
today we went to eat breakfast with my family, dimsum to be exact. we hung out at my mom's for a bit. we came back and i napped for an hour. dan left for albany at 250PM.
i have a stomachache. i didn't really poop much since i've been home.
i want to go to the beach this week.
i have to be home tomorrow from 11AM-2PM b/c my cable is out and those cablevision fuckers have to come over to check it out.
tuesday i see tyler again. i'm his best friend and i love it.
