August and it's still fucking hot
In the news there's been big talk about a heat advisery. i don't think my day-walker skin can handle this mess. I do have a pretty fine tan though... all I can think is skin cancer! skin cancer! AHHHHHHH.
I've been swimming alot! Trying to get it all done before It's too cold and I don't want to el oh el. It's so hot outside though, that the water feels like a jacuzzi! It kinda sucks when you've been walking about all day and the one thing that can completely cool you down, is lukewarm.
Amanda's birthday came and passed. Her party was fun, a lot of people that live in Eagle Westside participated. Even though it was a Sunday night hehehe. I hope she had a good Birthday yesterday too!
While hanging out and meeting the neighbours and such, the few I don't know anyway, Brandon who lives in apartment 9 offered to air up our tires with his air compressor! and Mike said he'd take a look at our car. I mean, there's nothing wrong with it, it's just been sitting for a while so it's hard to start. It's trying though! and I have high hopes!! Having to walk and bike everywhere has given me this new independence I hadn't known before. So it hasn't been such a bad thing at all. My legs are awesome ;)
