Man, have I been enjoying life recently or what. Just lounging around, watching TV, cleaning, dying my hair, sitting on the internet. What has come of me? I know I need to get a job. 2 weeks? Has it already been two weeks since I've assumed the meltdown position?!
Travis's Birthday was last week, Wednesday. We celebrated a bit that day and again on Friday. Friday was... hmmm, it was fun. Lol. Lot's of people came over and we definitly did some partying, that I late felt guilty about.
I amazingly enough had NO hangover what-so-ever. Saturday was spent with Kaila. We went to the Arts and Heritage Festival for about... 3 minutes. I had just started my girly thing (ya know) and felt like complete shit. I felt like the shit that's been paraded over by horses in the Thannksgiving Day Parade, yes it was pretty bad.
Kaila, kindly, took me home and I medicated myself and watched Mr. Deeds.
Yesterday, I finally got up the courage, and the ride, to go and donate plasma. I felt good about doing it, until they poked me!! The first lady didn't know what she was doing and completely missed the vein in my left arm. It was my falut really, I asked if she'd use my left arm because I give blood out of that one. Also because the TV was to my right and I didn't want to see the blood being sucked out of my arm while I was trying to watch Big Momma's House to occupy myself away from the pain. Well they took it out and bandaged it up and proceeded to my right arm. They got it in there and everything seemed fine. I won a prize too!! Lol. I was nearly done when I started feeling week and hot. I started trembling inside and tried to fight it since I was nearly done. I tried to slow my breathing but I couldn't help it, I started to pass out and told the Nurse to stop the machine. She rushed over and gave me some saline while the other 2 nurses elevated my legs and put ice packs around my neck and throat. One nurse had a file she was fanning me with.
After a couple minutes I decided to finish off my donation. Bleh. I felt pretty freakin' weak after that and I thought about not going back.
But I will Friday. I just kept reading those posters on the walls... :My 2 sons and nephew were born with slow immune systems, your plasma can help.." and I just feel good donating. Also they pay you!
I have become happy recently though. Last night, Travis and I were watching Conan O'Brien and I could just feel his presence in the room ya know. Ya he was 6 feet from me and I could see him, but I could also feel him. and it felt really good. I think i've become truely happy with the simple things in life. I just feel Happy. Especially with Travis.
Ok, i'm really hungry now. It's 4 P.M. and I haven't eaten anything all day! *tummy growl*
