Had fun this weekend with my friends. Went to P's parents anniversary dinner. It was fun. The food was yummy, the company was great, lol and we spent some time near the crane machine trying to get some spiderman toys for kris. But, the crane didn't like us. Then, we went to P's house and I got to meet the kitty, whose name i believe is Sammy. It had too many names so i'm not sure if they kept that one or not..lol.

Then, we watched Pan's Labyrinth because I had bought it earlier cuz i have wanted to see it for a while. And I really really really liked it a lot. Though some of the gore did make me close my eyes. Especially the bottle scene. Ouch! That guy is a bastard! The ending was sad; but, most war movies are sad at the end anyways. Its mostly about the innocence of a child who is suffering from the effects of cruelity in a world sieged of war; and, a world of fairy tale she dives into to help her overcome the reality of said war. Well, i guess the ending is both happy and sad; but, I won't give it away for those that havent' seen it. I watched it again with my parents today. And i figured out that Pan's Lybrinth is actually the english title... The spanish one is The Faun's Lybrinth... and i looked in the english dictionary to see the other meaning of Pan and Pan besides a frying pan also means earthen.... so i guess thats what the title means... and it also is a greek god that lived in the forest
