OTAKU NERD!!!
had a lot of fun at the ACEN Con this weekend.
It started really thursday when we finally got our 3 day badges (the day before!!) *shakes head at the unorganization of it all* Anyways we go to pick up the "goody bags."
Then on Friday, I dressed up as L from deathnote. we only got to walk around for like 15 minutes or so because we thought it was going to close at 9.. um yeah.. haha it actually closed at 7... But I had fun because I was talking pictures of cosplayers. I took pics with some other deathnote cosplayers. The coolest one was the guy that dressed up as Ryuk. When I went to take a picture of some guy that was dressed up as executioner Ichigo, I got swarmed by some girls that scared the hell out of me. They asked me something to the likes of "Can we glomp you?" and i was like "WTH does glomp mean?" And they said a hug.. so i was like ummm suree... all weirded out.. but it turned out to be an attack hug because the group of girls all screamed L and hugged me with all their weight.. It scared the crap out of me and i went running back to my friends who were sitting on the floor talking. Then, we left and ate at Oaklawn Restaurant and I got weird looks from the old people there and got a free lemonade.. haha maybe the lady was too scared to charge me.. dunno..
Saturday was lots of fun cuz we actually got to shop. I dressed up as Soubi from Loveless. I saw ari, my bro, and spizzle there for a short while before we departed ways. This is the day i bought the most because while P and ica were waiting for the panels, Kris and I were going around the stands like 15 times. I got way more than I expected i'd buy. Then, I was in line for Nightow to sign my hardcover nightow manga and I got out of line many times to take pictures of people. Fortuneately, they didn't get pissed that i was in and out of line. Haha, i even went stalking some people just cuz i thought their costumes were cool and i needed to take pictures. Then, finally i calmed down and sat in line waiting again to be let in for the autographs. Then, I remembered about Zuly's fireprincesz graduation so I texted her congratulating her on graduating and informing her that I was a nerd at the Con at the moment. When I got home i felt like a ditz because I had forgotten to tell my parents that the party was on Sunday >.< (yeah i got yelled for forgetting to tell them that) So ,anyways, congrats again on graduating and sorry i couldn't make it to the party. I got home around 11pm.
So, then Kris and I finally got into the most unorganized line ever because it was for 2 different times! But finally got it signed and shook his hand and avoided the guy next to him. After that we continued to walk around and shop. To many tempting things that I did not buy because then i would have been broke. So, then, we caught up with jessica and P and we went to the car. But P had to go to dinner with travis (anime voice actor), so, we stayed in the car and watched some dvds in there till she got back. After that, I actually fell asleep in the car and when I woke up we were at best buy. P was looking for some dvds, so we went to a couple of stores. Then, we got home at around 11 pm.
Sunday, I went with my brother on the train because he was going by himself and i felt bad. We got their 10 minutes after doors had opened. I tried finding my messenger bag that I wanted and wall scroll, and gin and kenpachi plushies. I only bought my gin plushie and a loveless phone chain thingie. Then, I met up with my friends and we went to the Voice actor signing for the Ayres brother, Patton, and Travis. It was fun. Stayed till it closed and got flicked off by the mooninites (sp) lol which was funny. P got me a cool Gin picture. Oh and i messed up kris's picture with travis. I still feel bad about that!
All in all it was fun but exhausting.. When i got home on sunday I litterally collapsed on my bed..lol
