The "TwitFace" scandal - Honestly, people, this is first-grade vocabulary

My commentary on the latest Facebook/Twitter connect scandal:

I understand the issues with cross-posting screened comments and comments in friends-only entries. That is not okay. People have those set to private for a reason, and violating that, especially to other sites, is very bad. I didn't get truly worked up about it because I make it a policy

Well, one of the other complaints is that it hasn't happened yet, which I guess is valid. And the thing about Twitter and Facebook is that, well, on the one hand it's annoying for those of us who don't have it. On the other hand, it could possibly lead into something good; there would be advantages to a globalized network that everyone's hooked on to.
