No, this one was on me. I copy-and-pasted the story from Word, went back to C&P the teaser quote, highlighted it but apparently forgot the whole CTRL+C part, and CTRL+V'd it into the little LJ-cut text window and didn't check. On the bright side, I discovered that there is not in fact a limit on how long you can make cut texts.

You've probably filled the "blasphemy" prompt already, but why not write something crossed over wtih Death Note.

As to Death Note, ooooo. I hadn't even thought of that! I haven't touched that canon in a while but I miss it. Thank you so much; that's enormously helpful!
