15 questions about my fics, because I like memes
1. What is your favorite fic?
Assuming this means "by me," probably either "Like Sisters" or "Boys Don't Cry." I love the first one because I feel like I really hit the dynamic between Lightning and Serah and the way that they changed over the pre-game years, and I just... I'm happy with it. As to "Boys Don't Cry," I think I managed to capture a lot of characters, including some I hadn't thought that I could write about, and I think I managed to capture their distinctions and yet tie them together in some ways. Also, I love catching tough characters in a moment of vulnerability.
2. What is your best-received fic?
Probably "Empty Space." The comments on that made my day. You know that moment when you finish something, and all you can think is "Yes, that's it, that's them and that's what it would be like?" I caused that. I caused that. I'm practically glowing as I type that. (I also got some really nice reactions with "Boys Don't Cry," but now I'm gragging.
3. What is your worst-received fic?
I haven't ever gotten any really harsh criticism, but a disturbing number of drabbles and my Puck/Quinn fic haven't gotten any response at all. Which is really more painful than concrit, or even flames.
4. What is your angstiest fic?
"Imperfect." Definitely "Imperfect." Although a lot of them are angsty.
5. What is your funniest fic?
None of my feeble stabs at humor have ever been well-received, so I don't know if I have a response to this.
6. Fluffiest?
Ohh, and it becomes hard to pick again. If I ever write more Carnivalverse then I think it will take the prize, since it has no purpose beyond fluff, but for now it's probably "An Unexpectedly Important Evening."
7. Smuttiest?
That I will admit to writing? "And the Bloody Lipmarks On Her Thighs." I wonder if I should be concerned, given that this is intentionally my most disturbing.
8. Have you ever made someone cry with a fic?
I don't know, actually. I hope I've caused a couple sniffles, but as far as I know there's been no actual tears.
9. Which fic frustrates you the most right now?
I don't typically do WIPs, actually, so that title goes to my origfic "The Military Lesbian Cyborg Project", which is not nearly as epic as it sounds. It's very slice-of-lifey and probably dull.

"Champagne and Brandy." Also known as EE LET'S PLAY DRESSUP WITH LIGTNING AND TIFA! And stick them in something bearing a suspicious resemblance to Venice at Carnival! And have adorableness ensue with help from Aerith!

Oh, man. If I restrict it to posted fanfic, then Allison from "One Departure Too Many" (ah, screw the links, the masterlist is on the top of my journal if anyone's curious) by virtue of being the only one.
12. Are you better at one-shot or multi-part?
Oh, definitely one-shots. I lack focus.
13. Which character do you think you're best at portraying?
Off my own sense of it? Lightning Farron. Judging by others' comments? Azula from ATLA.

Who I've tried to write? Pro-bab-ly Aerith, but it's hard to say. I have trouble with quite a few of them.
