OH MY LORDY LORDY LORD, THE GOOD WIFE.
I cannot even. I CANNOT EVEN. They based a whole - brilliant and hilarious! - episode on Jonathan Coulton being ripped off by Glee. They have Alicia BAMF it up. ( Relatedly, I love that Cary supported her in that - that Will did shake her up a bit, but Cary gave her the help she needed to shake him right the hell back.) They have an actually moving Kalinda moment about trust and making connections and the difference between friends and lovers. They have Will and Diane have a moment where Will actually persuades her to let him take some big leaps with the firm. They make Eli's worry about a possible Peter-baby seem almost comic, in that Eli way.
AND THEN THEY BRING THAT FUCKING VOTE-RIGGING VIDEO BACK AFTER I HAD ALMOST BLOODY FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT. OMFG. OMFG WHAT.
This show is now so good it can metaphorically sucker-punch me omg. I have literally no idea who might have released that video - at least, anyone I can think of, why wouldn't they have released it before? Whuuuut. I am just super confused right now and really want the next episode because WHY IS IT NOT HERE ALREADY. AAAHHH.
(Oh, and did anyone else think it was rather nice we didn't actually see the Coulton-analogue win the case? I thought that was actually kind of sweet, because real!Coulton did not win. It seemed sort of sensitive to the whole issue in a way TV isn't, usually. I am unsurprised that The Good Wife is the show to break that mold, though.)
