(To the maybe-two people who will get why the subject line made me laugh a lot: I'm sorry. I had to. *g*)
NCIS was a lot less gay this week! Everybody was looking particularly pretty, though - Tim wearing jeans! Tony being slinky! Ziva being sneaky! Abby and her Caf Pow! - so I didn't mind much. :) It wasn't the best idea for a Halloween episode ever, because that would have been if they ACTUALLY SHOWED US TIM, TONY, AND ABBY AS THE JONAS BROTHERS, SERIOUSLY PEOPLE YOU CANNOT MENTION THAT AND THEN NOT SHOW IT. BASTARDS.
... er, anyway. It was okay! I liked Palmer's clear glee about the liquid nitrogen, he was awesome. (Hahaha, zombies!) I also very much liked the idea of baby troublemaker McGee, I liked McGee's jeans, I liked Abby, and I liked that Ziva was sneaky like a Mossad agent on a Halloween kick at the end. *g*
Tony I just about forgive for his "the wife did it" thing because the "Traditional Halloween etiquette" thing was funny - as was his response to the neighbour being Mr Rogers! In a sweater! Hahaha! - and the phrase "Probie sandwich". I also liked him dragging his team to the bathroom and then getting TOLD. LOL. Oh, Tony, you so whacked. And when he and Tim were talking they were cute, it just wasn't the usual cracktastically um-no-that-really-kind-of-is-really-queer level of married. But I can cope with that. I have hope for the Christmas episode. *g*
Psych sort of went the opposite to NCIS - they went serious and dramatic and omg. I was genuinely on the edge of my seat; when Psych does go serious, it does it well. I am totes impressed. Oh, SHAWN. And GUS. And surprisingly my favourite this ep - HENRY! He was amazing! I mean, I was never a Henry-hater (I have rather too vivid an idea of what it might be like trying to bring up a kid like Shawn for that, plus, omg he was scoutmaster for a scout troop of TWO PEOPLE, that is adorable) but oh his love for Shawn in this! Henry is kind of great. He and Lassiter should so try to decipher text-speak together every week.
(Yes, I would watch that show.)
Not sure what I think of the Juliet thing... I love Jules, she is awesome, but I like her best when she's being insane and competent rather than implied to be pining for Shawn. Jules and Shawn would be a terrible long-term couple and I think she knows it. Hmm. But still, a good episode, and if it wasn't as hilarious as Tuesday the 17th, it wasn't trying to be, which was fine. It was drama time at the Psych saloon, and they do it well. Aw yeah.

Also also I kind of love the '100 awesome female characters' meme that's doing the rounds - I should make time for that sometime soon.
ETA: oh, and I forgot to add that there is an excellent, if small, collection of queer-yayfulness links
here. Aww.
