happy official beginning of the holiday season day!
btown christmas parade was yesterday which means i can be officially excited about christmas! and we had the lighting of the green tonight @ FUMC and the advent workshop! i'm sooooooooo crazy excited. and i'll be in a good mood til the 25th! i've gotten out the christmas music cd's and i'm going christmas shopping this weekend for all my loves' presents :-D christmas shopping is like a high for me. and wrapping presents. ah. LOVE it. and to top it all off, we're actually getting a christmas tree this year because we're staying home. the tree might not seem like a big deal. but its been FOUR years since we've had one. i'm also excited because its FINALLY cold enough to wear warm sweaters. i adore sweaters. especially cute cable knits :) ah, and best of all the mall gets christmas-a-fied. this is my absolute favorite thing ever. when j crew puts up its winter window displays with cute wool sweaters and scarves that i always blow my christmas money on. ok now i just sound like a dork. anways...
so i went to the playoff game on friday and i was wearing like 4 layers and still managed to freeze my face off. but it was fun. and suzanne tackled emily and she got doused in her hot chocolate. poor girl. then me and brittnee went to the elon game the next night where it wasnt as cold. and elon got WHOMPED. dang. it was bad. so we went to pulcinella's before halftime to eat :) and i saw olivia @ the game and the woodards and the murrays @ the restaurant. and then we stayed up til the crack of dawn before going to church. so needless to say i'm tired.
and how about EVERY teacher decided they were going to finish their units on tuesday? which means major homework, papers and projects and tests ALL fall on the same day. how fun.
