Big Changes!
Dear Friends:
I haven't posted anything in quite a long time because a) My personal computer is not internet ready and I hate using my roommates and b) no one wants to hear someone keep bleating about the suck-i-tude that I felt my life was stuck in.
That being said, I've got an important announcement on my un-sticking of my suck-i-tude life.
I'm moving to Chicago.
Monday.
It's a temporary visit to secure housing and a job and then I will be flying home to pack my life and all my belongings and move my ass to the Windy City. I will probably try and arrange some outing before I head North in a Uhaul to say hi/bye to some friends I haven't seen lately (a result of the suck-i-tude). I know it's quite sudden, but I have 100% conviction this is the right choice for me. And while it is quite short notice I am only moving to Chicago, where AirTran almost always has 79$ one-way tickets to. It is not like I'm moving to Hawaii (again). Holidays, birthdays, long weekends, I will flit in and out of Atlanta, but now, each and every one of you has a very good reason to take a vacation!
If anyone would like to stop by my work (The Atlantic Grill in Atlantic Station) Sunday will be my last shift so that means everyone at the bar is getting absolutely shit-canned, I will make sure of it. Otherwise, I'll keep you posted on when I'll be back in town for a proper hurrah.
