Organization.........or not!

Time has a way of slipping away from me. I find it hard to believe it's been almost a month since my last entry here. Sorry about that oversight. There's just so many things I have to do. This journal is one of the many things I tend to put off. My time is limited. OK, so that's a bad choice. Deal with it! I have a right to be cranky in my own journal.

While it's fun and I enjoy writing, it does little to change the world. Nothing bad would happen if I didn't write anything for a week or two. On the other hand, if I didn't feed my rabbits for a few days something very bad would happen. They would cease to exist! That would be horrible and depressing. I guess there are priorities in life to consider.

I have no true system of organization. I tend to do everything in spurts. I let my mood and motivation be my guide. I've been trying to decide if this is more productive than having an actual plan or schedule to follow. Or is it less productive? Is it an excuse to be lazy? Basically does a person do more when highly motivated or whenever you force yourself to follow a plan? I wonder......

Does it just seem less productive because it's harder to keep track of any progress you make? Having a plan to follow does seem to make you far more accountable. You know when you achieve steps or when you don't. You can cross things out and move onto the next one. Or you stay stuck right where you are. It's all planned out and concrete. Boring, predictable, rigid, anal. Would spontaneous and free be more your style?

Perhaps the key to all this indecision is that it's just a personal preference. Whatever works for you is the right way. Each person may have a tendency to work better either using the method or the other non-method approach. Or is it best to vary your selection depending upon the task rather automatically picking your usual way? Give that some thought as well.

I have only questions to ponder here tonight. Just random thoughts popping out of my confused brain. No true answers. Are there any to find? How would you recognize them? Honestly it doesn't matter to me. Should it matter to you?
