I was going to update this livejournal for the first time in months, but I have no idea what to say. Katie Zimolzak says to make writing a habit, and to write a little bit of something every day, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to be saying, so I guess I'll just muse on my life.
Check out that run-on sentence.
On this, the public internet forum that is my livejournal, we could discuss how easily I become infatuated with almost entirely unobtainable men, or how Elizabeth and I are going to have to end up selling our plasma to pay rent, because Uno's is screwing us over, or how I, a senior in college, should probably develop some study skills quickly, and preferably before I graduate.
But no. Instead, an open letter to the CTA.
Dear CTA:
I do not pay you 80 dollars a semester for you to tell me that a 151 Bus is scheduled to show up at 2:00, and then not actually have one appear until 2:15. The kicker, however, is when this delayed bus is DIRECTLY followed by another 151.
Also, to my knowledge there is no construction happening anywhere between Fullerton and Grand, thus the announcements that "we are being delayed, because crews are working on the tracks ahead" are totally null and void. We're being delayed, in this tunnel, underground, with no construction for miles, because you hate me. Please. I would, for once, like to not be late to work.
Thank you.
Melissa.
