that time again

It's that time of the month again when I hate being a woman. I feel fat, leaky, and ugly. I tried working out yesterday, to get rid of that bloated feeling. Instead, the boyfriend convinced me to go to Friday's. Or was it me? Anyways, today I will work out.

It's just not fair that women through this painful thing every month just to have the privilege of going through even more pain and labor to give the gift of life. Of course, in the end, it's all worth it. But really, if only God designed us with a small light button somewhere (in the derriere, maybe, so no one can see?) that lights up to let us know that, hey, your ovaries just released an egg and it's heading down the fallopian tube right now. Stock up on those pads. Then it lights up again. Hey, your lining's about to break. Might want to start wearing those and start taking some Advils. Think about how much pain and embarrassment (not to mention the mess) we could avoid? And when close to giving birth, the button flashes instead and we hear a DING! to let us know that the baby's ready and we just pull the baby out, kinda like when the cake's ready and we just pull it out of the oven?

Eh. If only.
