Hamiathes' Gift Exchange - Two days left!
Assignments are due in two days, at 10 PM EDT on Saturday, August 19th! What time is that for me?
How do I post my assignment?
There are a few ways to do this, but the easiest is to go to your dashboard on AO3 and click Assignments in the menu at the left. Find your assignment for this exchange and click the Fulfill button. The Post New Work form will open for you. In the Associations section, you should see "Hamiathes' Gift Exchange 2017 (your recipient's name)" in the Open Assignments box.
Can I keep editing my story or artwork after I post it?
Yes, you'll still be able to edit it. Just make sure you have a complete story or artwork that meets the requirements posted by August 19th. If you don't, it will be considered a default.
All fanworks posted to the challenge will be hidden until August 26th, so you'll have an extra week to fine-tune your assignment.
How long do I have to post treats?
The collection will remain open for treats until gifts are revealed on August 26th.
What happens on August 19th?
At the deadline, I will check all the assignments to be sure they're complete and (for fic) meet the minimum length requirements. If anyone who has fulfilled their assignment does not have a gift at that time, I will put out a request for pinch hitters.
If you have not posted a complete work meeting the requirements by the deadline and have not received an extension, you will be an automatic default.
