This is a Real Update™
So...yeah...Stacy the Awesome-Girl-from-Indiana has promised to come down for our Santa Rampage on the 18th. And I've been in a really good mood because of it (better than Saturday, right? Can I get a witness?).
It's a nervous kind of happy though, because we're still in that getting-to-know-one-another phase where it would be much more preferable to spend some time alone first instead of jumping into the deep end of a party where practically every one of my friends will be in attendance. We've spent maybe a grand total of 16 hours together, in person, and that was over a month ago when I drove up there for Halloween. Yes, Halloween, and now the Santa Rampage. This could be the start of some sort of kinky tradition: every time we see each other we get dressed up in costumes.
It shouldn't be too awkward, really. She'll fit right in, I know it. For one thing, the girl just hosted her very own (and as far as we know, Indianapolis's first-ever) Santa Rampage last Saturday, to celebrate her birthday. From the moment I told her about ours she's been saying "I HAVE to do that! It sounds awesome!" So...yeah...I don't think there's anything to worry about.
