I can't seem to find virtues where I am, especially at school. Instead all types of sins seem to be thriving and I see truly good people mistake sins for virtues and vice versa. As if they have no choice but to give in to the crowd. But there are a few virtues that seem to show up and they give me a little hope for this generation and the world in general. I promise I will leave you a high or at the very least hopeful note!
A) I am so busy these days.
B) I am so busy these days.
C) I am so busy these days.
*** I have discovered that the distanced ships are the best, considering the newer ones have continually disappointed me in their decisions, which knocks them down a notch and makes me lose all respect for them. I am sorry we ran {out of common} ground. Maybe distance will solve things or just pull us further apart, either way I understand a human's need to belong and I don't mind if I never see these ships again. I truly hope you have a safe journey. ***
Highlights keeping me afloat: watching Explosions In The Sky perform on Conan O'Brien in the TV screen glow of midnight to proceed running to my room and jumping on my bed, whisper screaming, whisper crying, because my parents were asleep / finding pennies on the ground / going to half price books to buy the first three official CDs that were released before I was born: this is the start of a lifelong project that has been in the back of my mind since the beginning of time / buying journals to last my pen and I a lifetime half-off at the bookstop that is closing in 6 days / trying new things like: ordering italian roast coffee other than regular coffee at B&N only to get my tongue & throat burned, because of a rushed curiosity, now it just seems funny that I tried to be spontaneous / drawing Andrew Bird at B&N / LISTENING TO THE NEW EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY ALBUM AT NIGHT!!! / drawing Elliott in art, it actually looks almost good?! / finishing that Voxtrot pen drawing finally! / the new Bright Eyes EP / going to see Explosions in the Sky on March 7th! / the hopeful possibility of a fun spring break!
