SAY WHO YOU PLAY BUM. Um. Heat, Maluxia, Replica, Kubota AM I FORGETTING ANYONE? Don't you have any counselors? O wait. Umeda. I KNEW THAT.

Only Umeda hasn't really met anyone but Vash. HE STILL HAS THAT ROSE. NEXT.

Heat-

Ed: ajks;dfa cannibal >\ Ed's... it's hard to say. Ed really is the type to be somewhat bigoted. Just. Oddly so. Suits of armor are human but homunculi aren't. And Ed IS someone righteous enough to suggest that if you have to kill people every day to live, you might as well just kill yourself. (GOING TO WAR AND GETTING BACK YOUR BROTHER'S BODY ARE DIFFERENT K) But Ed has BIG ISSUES with killing people. If he knew Heat was in a war back home, that'd be one thing. But as far as at camp? GTFO bitch.

Except that Heat is totally the type of person he'd get along with =\ In that abusive Ed-like way.

So RIGHT NOW Ed is pretty okay with Heat, because he's eating Greed and while that is disgusting and kind of annoys him, it's also kind of funny and he can live with it. He'll talk casually with him and only give him a LITTLE BIT of crap about the cannibal thing as long as it stays that way. If he catches Heat trying to eat anyone else who Ed doesn't think deserves it (minus Emilio. Because. It's Emilio) Ed will kick his ass >\ And then. You know. Almost get eaten. Sigh.

Luke: Most of this was written in Luke's diary entry I showed you. Luke is... not capable of judging other's against himself. This is because he's VERY WELL AWARE that he's probably killed a helluva lot more people than Heat and for worse reasons. And he IS canonically terrified of dying, not so much the fear of death but the fact that he really really really wants to live. I do think Luke would eat people if that's what it took. And more importantly, Luke thinks he might too.

The fact that Heat LIKES killing bothers Luke a bit, but not that much. He respects a number of people who enjoy battle. Luke himself LIKES fighting quite a lot, he just has a huge complex over actually killing. But he's the only person in his group who does, everyone else kills people with no issues, one of his party members even enjoyed slaughtering small monsters as a kid and Luke wasn't particularly disturbed by this. So. For all Luke's own moral issues he doesn’t apply them to other people much.

Cannibalism and murder aside, Luke likes Heat okay. He's not quite comfortable around him, but mostly because of the moral issues Heat represents. He thinks it's pretty obvious that Heat isn't going to just up and eat him for no reason. And if he TRIED well. Luke's perfectly confident in his ability to either kick Heat's ass or else escape from battle. He'd talk to Heat again and HOPEFULLY ABOUT STUFF OTHER THAN BIG MORAL ISSUES. Luke is just. Hard to get off of the subject once he gets on it because he's busy emoing and contemplating emo stuff.

...and that was a LOT for basically only one conversation each. But lol reasonably nice cannibal okay.

Marluxia-

Riku: Similar to as things are with Larxene- Marluxia is a Nobody which means Riku's morals are more or less ON HOLD with him. This is ironic since Riku doesn't think Nobodies are really 'nothing' or even truly 'heartless'. But he didn't feel bad about killing them the first time and wouldn't feel bad about doing it again.

However, he doesn't see them as enemies anymore and it's not like he's gunning to off them or anything. Maluxia himself is pretty much, to Riku, someone to mock and now, to prank. He really doesn't know much about Marluxia himself beyond the fact that the Castle Oblivion thing was his doing. While this means Riku realizes Marluxia is manipulative and all that jazz, Riku doesn't exactly hold a grudge. Sora killed him just fine, Riku's over it. He IS however concerned that Marluxia might hold a grudge. He doesn't know him well enough to say for sure, but the fact that Riku knows Marluxia has gotten on the good sides of both Kairi and Sora makes Riku pretty wary of any backlash that might come of that. He's not gonna jump the gun on the issue, since Marluxia hasn't (as far as I know) done anything. But Riku will poke him about it, be a general ass, and never let Marluxia on his good side.

Kubota-

Ticky: That guy I want to teach me that one game.

Replica-

Ed: Ed likes him! Ed would pretty easily consider him a friend, not a big one or anything but an acquaintance that he enjoys. Ed is friends with Riku too, but he doesn't have a big issue seeing you apart. (For one, you're shorter YES I SAID IT) and the personalities are so obviously different he doesn't care much.

Doesn't care about the replica or only being a couple of months old thing either. Mostly because Ed's been at camp so long he's like "o you're a clone/demon/angel/alien? huh" noooo biggie.

Luke: AGAIN most of it was in the diary. The Replica himself hasn't left much or any real impression as far as his personality. But the situation that Luke has heard about depresses him because it's basically exactly like what he came from. Only in his case it was his Original hating him because Luke had taken his life (NOT HIS FAULT). But Luke heard a lot of "You stole my life! My parents! My friends!" type of stuff. Also Luke REALLY CARES ABOUT his Original and throughout the game Asch pretty much just makes >( faces at him. Luke eventually comes to the conclusion that he doesn't need his Original to accept him, but he still wishes he HAD.

So. SEEING THIS REPLICA DOING IT TOO makes him sad. There are quite a few other replica related issues in the game and it's enough to say that OVERALL there are Not Good Vibes between Replicas and Originals and. It's depressing. So seeing the same situation in people from an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PLANET is not doing a great job on Luke's hopes that replicas will find a place back in his world.

Riku: Stupid replica >(

Actually no, not really. SINCE THEY HAVEN'T PLAYED MUCH RECENTLY and to me their relationship is too delicate that I don't want to assume stuff is going around in the background, not much has changed since when we last played at the beginning of January.

Riku STILL doesn't like his replica, of course. He still thinks he's more annoying and now maybe a little disgusting too (STOP CRYING). Ironically playing Luke has helped me better work out Riku's issues with the replica. And that mainly being Riku still hasn't accepted the replica as someone different than him. At the same time, not as someone the same from him either. He really IS keeping the Replica in that "I'm no one!" place. Because no, the replica is not him, but at the same time it's his replica and shouldn't it act like it?

The fact is, that for as long as they fight over possessing the same things, Riku is probably never going to fully understand that the replica is a different person. This is mostly BECAUSE the replica is so intent on having the same things Riku has. That Riku would war with a copy of himself to possess what is important to him is... not at all surprising to Riku ^^; THAT'S PRETTY MUCH HOW HE FIGURES IT WOULD GO he doesn't like himself enough to share. So the fact that the replica is doing what he would expect while SAYING "No I'm different!" doesn't really equate to Riku. If you're different go get your own life and leave me the fuck alone. Riku would really be perfectly okay with this.

BUT he does... recognize the Replica as alive, and enough like him that he pities it sometimes, just a bit. Not NEARLY as much as he dislikes it. But um. It's progress?

He can't tell if the replica wants his approval or acknowledgement or what. It hasn't occurred to him. He doesn't recognize the replica as enough a part of himself to need something like that, and Riku would NEVER need acknowledgement from... another him. So it won't ever occur to Riku to give the replica even that much unless it just HAPPENS and that would mean seeing the replica as a completely separate entity WE'RE GOING IN CIRLCES OKAY GOOD.

AND FINALLY. Riku DOES kinda get the need for the replica to prove itself superior by kicking his ass. It's another thing he would expect himself to do. He just. Finds it annoying that it keeps trying. I'VE KILLED YOU TWICE YOU LOSE BY DEFAULT.

I- I think that's all. God you know WE DON'T PLAY THAT MUCH SO WHY DO YOUR CHARACTERS INSPIRE SO MUCH RAMBLING?
