Vash was actually a little surprised to know that Gwendal's spent more time with Wolfwood than he has. TECHNICALLY Trigun spans about three years, but there are a lot of big gaps there where Wolfwood and Vash don't see each other.
Luke: Married guy O.o Luke's only real impression of Wolfwood is that he seems nice enough, where as his...uh. husband? wife? How does that work anyway? Is kind of intimidating. Despite being royalty Luke isn't used to very formal people. He CAN BE if he has to be, but back home he's so well loved people treat him pretty relaxed. So Luke would probably talk to Wolfwood again over Gwendal.
