Tommorrow morning I will rise at 4:15 AM to go catch a flight to take me to Miami, and some time later will catch a flight from Miami to Lima, Peru. In this week, I have seen endangered animals, swam with funny creatures, ridden ATVs through the mountains, swam in waterfalls and walked through the jungle. Thus far, I have half-completed The Secret Life of Plants, and suggest that most people read the first chapter, if nothing else, at least once. This time in 2 days, I will be inside of a hut in the Amazon. I am scared and within reason. Courage and imagination are the bottom line mechanisms of Power and control. Fear is the illusion of lack. I like reptiles, because they know that they've got nothing to prove and have a sense of humor about it.I don't like reptiles because they seems to forget the lightness of compassion.
On my own note: there is much rain and lightning here. In the water, I remembered watching the lightning strike so close to me in Virginia. The earth shook, and I felt the heat blow into and through me.
