King Edward II
Or the man who had the balls to be openly gay in the 14th Century. I can not even fathom undergoing what he went through, and his death? Has to go down as one of the worst gay bashing instances in history.
Keith Moon
Words simply can not express the amazing drummer he was. It is something you have to watch. He revolutionised how drummers play. Instead of being off to the side, or somewhere in the background he sat in the center and when watching The Who perform it's hard (atleast for me) to take my eyes off him. He plays like he's the only one there. Like he doesn't give a damn what people think. He's free. He's amazing.
You can download videos of The Who performing

Stuart Sutcliffe
He stood up for himself and decided to leave The Beatles. He wasn't happy and did something about it, music simply wasn't his thing: art was. Tragically he died at 22.
If you're ever looking for a good movie, rent Backbeat. It's basically his and John Lennon's story. Stephen Dorff plays Stu :).
Brian Jones
Magnificent musician, fashion icon, and ultimate 60s bad-ass. The original rocker. Brian once held the record for The British Pop Star with the most illegitimate children. He was also incredibly misunderstood and targeted unfairly by the government. He, including the Stones, were a scapegoat for all things gone wrong in 60s youth.
George Harrison
A man of great wisdom and perspective. If I ever have a question about life I seek my answers in his songs. He was an amazing writer, under-rated as a Beatle, under-rated as a guitar player but his fans truly love him. He is a father figure to me and I feel blessed to be able to listen to his music.
They're all men. I wonder what Freud would have to say about that?
