The sad saga of Lolack Peemo.

Lolack Peemo was happy to be back from an extended exile.

She headed to the tavern in Anchorhead, the Rebel base, anxious to see old friends and comrades.

But there was no-one there.

She decided to head home to Dantooine, to her city and friends. She put on her best gown for her homecoming, wanting to make a grand reappearance.

But there was no-one to greet her at the shuttleport.

Alright, she thought, no problem; I'm sure they're all home in Dynamo City. Perhaps there's a party happening tonight in Town Hall!

She set out with great excitement over the planet that was so familiar to her, that she had missed so much; her wild, untamed, mysterious home, with its rolling plains and pristine meadows.

But Dantooine had changed.

It began to rain.

A huurton attacked her. Just like the old days, she thought with some hope.

She ran and ran, dodging attacks by voritor lizards and unfriendly Kunga, until finally she neared a familiar series of hilltops.

I'm nearly home!, she panted, grinning through her gasps.

But something was terribly wrong.

Dynamo City had disappeared without a trace.

But look! There was one house left! Maybe Learo or Rydia or Esmerelda were inside, and could tell her what had happened!

But it belonged to someone she didn't know.

Perhaps he would know what had happened, though.

But the house seemed to be abandoned.

Confused and frightened, Lolack set out to a place that had always provided solace: her own special pond. She had discovered it while looking for wild berries, and was taken by its pristine beauty. No-one else had ever known about it; it was a secret between her and Dantooine.

It seemed that someone had leaked the secret.

Cold, alone, and exhausted, Lolack hung her head and set out across the plains of Dantooine with no destination in mind, walking until she couldn't walk anymore.

And when she got too tired to continue, she sat down on the soft mossflowers and wild grasses of her home, looked up at the stars, and wondered...

Where do I go now?
