I could respond about how many people make a point of how unoffended they are by replies to their boring posts, rather than actually countering the points made.
You could probably find many other instances of many other people saying the same thing to different inhabitants of the barge.
I could say that people around here are always trying to distract one another from the original point.
You could say that wardens accuse inmates of doing that all the time.
