(no subject)
Last week was the one year anniversary of my grandmother passing away. I miss her quite a bit but I'm happy that she is no longer in pain. I regret not being there for either her funeral or the mass they held in her honor last week. I love(d) her very much.
Things have been really picking up lately. Well... everything except the temperature I suppose. Work has been running smoothly, hanging out with good people, the birds are chirping and all of that shit.
We are going down to San Diego in March for a little over a week and I can't wait. I miss everyone down there. Might even drive out to see my aunt in Pheonix. She is party beyond belief. Kind of a creepy party being my aunt and all.. but party none the less.
Hung out with Chuck and Maddie last night. It was great, even though I couldn't drink (driving and all). They played a drinking game (Jane and Maddie) to the movie Withnail and I. Everytime someone on screen drank... well you get the idea. There is a lot of abuse in that movie. Good times. Thinking about doing it this next weekend with Hero. Drink everytime you see a sword. Or an asian. Or an arrow (I almost typed out "aero"). No idea where I am going with this.
I just read Nike bought out Converse around a year ago. I'm surprised I didn't notice. Sad...
We also helped my coworker Terrance move his daughter across town. Terrance is great because he enjoys starting explosive topics at work just to see everyone fight about them. "So I heard they are doing a reenactment of the WTO protests tommorow..." and the flood gates open.
Ohh boy. I haven't even though about Christmas shopping for anyone. I think I'll keep it like that.
