I am a random creepy person who saw this on friendsfriends, but if you have time on your lunchbreak you can go into a close-to-your-work post office and ask if they can send any and all parcels waiting for you at your local post office to that post office so you can actually pick them up. I did it once.

Ooh, I should try that. Except I don't drive so if they're heavy I have to lug them back on public transport... I feel I should have somebody who does this kind of thing for me.

god that is so horrible. why can't these things just be delivered after hours or left on the doorstep or something? australia post sometimes makes me want to stab things.
