History; From a young age, Ryo was very aware of his powers. As a
child, he kept causing his parents headaches by crawling up any
surface he could, or falling through chairs or tables. Before he had
complete control of his powers, he was often taken to the emergency
roof for the broken bones caused by falling from whatever was the tall
structure of the day was. But none of that could discourage from his
love of high places.
Because of his love of high places, Ryo fell in love with working on
the lights high in the ceiling of his school theater for drama. It
also exposed him to music. Soon he moved on to being versed in sound
systems as well as light systems for the stage.
Ryo's life looked promising. He was going to go into engineering at a
good Japanese University, and he was composing music on the side.
Everything was good until he came home to an empty house. His entire
family, who also had various powers that were only whispered about
behind closed doors, was gone. When he found them gone, he was
attacked by some scary government types with suits and guns. Using his
powers, Ryo narrowly escaped capture by Sector Y.
Scared that Sector Y would get him if he stayed in Japan, Ryo fled to
Korea. He figured it was close enough to Japan, and yet he could fall
off the radar. He managed to get a job at zzyzx, and support himself,
but also fell into the more underground groups.
Now he just contents himself working lights and sound for Park
Yoochun, and being an occasional Dj, sometimes mixing in his own
original songs.
Personality; After what happened to his family, Ryo is very guarded.
He doesn't speak very much, half because although he speaks and
understands Korean very well, he doesn't like to speak it. Ryo also
mistrusts most government institutions because of what Sector Y did to
him and his family. Ryo tends to hide his pain and anger with a happy exterior when
he is being social, but sometimes he comes across a little strongly when irritated.
He goes between happy go lucky and bitter quite easily. Ryo generally
has a good sense of humor and tries to make the best of his situation.
Other; He likes smoking out of his nose.
