It's over! The 80th Legislative Session has adjourned sine die. Which means they quit and went home.
So I write here to apologize for being so absent. Not particularly on this journal (because, really, I suck at lj), but rather absent from life in general.
It has been hard for me to have conversations without talk about points of personal privilege, Rule 4, Section 32, vacating the chair, "Arthur," and the Senator from Crazytown. When I try to avoid these topics, I find I can only talk about a limited number of topics: Angels in America, Bodies in Commotion, and how I'm getting my hair cut.
Thanks to everyone for listening to me say "IT'S SUCH A GOOD MOVIE/BOOK/IDEA" over and over because it's all I could think of to say. I promise I will be returning to my normal ("normal") self shortly. Also, I will start calling you back when I say I will. Kinda.
