Not quite on the level of Supreme Clientele or Ironman, but fantastic nevertheless.

"Be Easy," "Kilo," "Clipse of Doom," and "R.A.G.U." are some favorites off the top of my head.

I usually end up skipping the pair of "Whip You With a Strap" and "Back Like That," though.

I absolutely do. I might even say it's one of the best of the mid-'90s Wu-Tang records with that sort of minimalistic and cracked-out RZA production I love so much, though maybe not as stellar as Liquid Swords or Only Built 4 Cuban Linx (though "The Faster Blade" w/ Raekwon comes close). It's a very solid and consistent album with barely any filler. Some of it's so subtly fucking dark, too, like "Camay," with this sinister misogyny creeping out . . .

Sinister Misogyny sounds like an excellent band name.

maybe it doesn't hit me by comparison foolsgold13 April 24 2006, 15:47:56 UTC
i know reviews for it when it came out inititally were lukewarm at best in some places, and it has grown in stature. but idk, only built 4 linx, which ironman is clearly a cousin of, is a very different album than other wu i feel like. i listen to it differently. only built is just so tight with such dense beats and fiery lyrics i love it. but ironman doesn't have it for me. oh well
supreme clientele is so good. fishscale too. jeez louise
