Kabuto had been studying.
Several books were neatly stacked on his desk, next to his hibernating laptop. His notebook was open in front of him, an elderly-looking scroll unfurled above it.
One would think that after the feline events of the previous summer, Kabuto would know better than to attempt unfamiliar jutsu. His overconfidence was his biggest weakness, sometimes.
This was one of those times.
Time-space jutsu was not something to be undertaken lightly. Kabuto, however, was confident that he could pull it off. If Orochimaru thought he could do it...Kabuto was not going to let his master down.
Kabuto picked up the scroll and notebook, carefully tucking them away in his broad sash. Putting both hands together, he formed a number of fast seals.
And then vanished without a trace.
