The labs are unnaturally silent as Kabuto makes his rounds, and he carefully notes the occurrence in his log book before returning to his desk. There, he waits for his newest patient, quietly monitoring the computer screens that surround his desk. Hopefully there will be no disturbances today.

He turned and followed the wall to a small cooler, carefully stepping over several creepers that crossed his path. The plant food he pulled from the ice-chest reeked and the smell started the entire garden rustling with anticipation.
"The Sound is not the only village with plants like these." He explained. "Most villages have something similar. I believe the forest of death had a few Venuses - " Here he lofted a small chunk of meat to one of the smaller plants. " But this collection is quite a bit larger than most." The small plants flower yawned wide and caught the scrap with practiced ease. "Most, of course, I've gathered in during my travels. They've been trained as well as possible - " Here a vine lashed out at the spot he had been a moment before, "But as you can see, most are still quite hostile. Not necessarily a bad thing, of course."
He arrived back at Ukons position and handed over the bucket. "Think of this as a morning training exercise. 'Don't get killed by man-eating plants'."
