New York and other randomocities
Well Camille my cousin had my grandma pay for us to go and visit my other cousin Heather out in Nyc. She lives on the same street as Time Square, just closer to the water. You can see the george washington bridge and new jersey from her window. You can also see a lady who has no furniture really and a kid who is always running around. The lovely privacy NYC gives you. lol. We arrived in the afternoon on Tuesday, and lovely heather cacked open a bottle of champagne for us. We drank a few glasses and then some vodka drinks. We then decided to meet rick, her husband down at a Pizza place called Johns. It was our first experience walking in NYC, god.. you have to walk alot there. lol. But anyway, I think that I will NEVER ever find pizza that I enjoy again after that place. It was SOO good. We even had it for breakfast the next morn. But the place is really cool. It is a church inside, and really pretty. and there are 4 different stoves where they cook in front of you. Which ever you are closer to they cook it. YUMMM. highly recommended. THen after Dinner rick asked what kind of beer I liked, so he went and bought me two 12 packs of blue moon :) We went home and hung out drank beer until 2 in the morning, lovely. lol
Wednesday was mostly a day for shopping. We woke up at about 12. THen we got ready and went off. First we went off to 34th street where there is alot of shopping. we went to HM, Victoria Secret, Forever 21, and Macy's. macy's was HUGE!!! They had a grocery store thing on the bottom, I was very impressed. we only went to the junior level to shop where a live DJ was mixing, I found a really cute white dress on sale and bought it. Probably one of my best purchases. lol. while at 34th I also bought a very cute sweater halter top at F21. We then went to St. marks. It is a really cool part of town. like punk rock stores and hot topics on steriods. lol, There were alot of smoke shops and stuff. we went to most of the crazy stores and checked them out. Camille bought a cute bag from one of the store. WE traveled alot on the subway this day, we bought an unlimited pass and used it lots. AFter ST. marks we went to Union Square, We wanted to have lunch. We ate at this place called Republic. OMG! it is so cute there, like super open kinda dark. but big like group tables to sit at and people covered in noodles on the walls. they have these really cute small dishes and then you like share with everyone. We got a salmon sashimi and cucumber salad, tofu in penut sauce, eggplant, and seafood wontons. OMG! it was so good, i would go bacl there next time. Next we went to Soho, but it was starting to get late. We went into a few shops but most were getting ready to close or already were. the one store we wanted to go in, Yellow Rat Bastard, was closed so we decided to come back another day. We took off to Time Square. we took pictures of ourselves, tried to flirt with a cop, and did a little gift shopping. We also bought these pictures from this guy, and I was like looking at one and all of a sudden he like grabbed it otu of my hand and was like " OH MY GOD! THE POLICE" and started packing allhis shit up like he was gonna leave. So long story short, I grabbed the picture back, gave him the 3 dollars and took off. Lots of shady people.. ill tell you about the chinese lady later. lol after that we went back to the apartment and decided to order in. But we found out that all the good places close after 10. so we got shitty chicken parmesan and lettuce with a pickle for a salad. lol.Then we of course drank beer, Lots of it, Stayed up until about 4, and then we went to bed
On Thursday we had to go meet up with this little man who was going to give us tickets for a free bus ride. I found out that if you are a cute girl you can get any of those guys to give you freee tickets. Heather knew him becuase he comes into her work. So we had to meet him around lunch time or so. We went to colombus circle and stuff . then walked to central park, we walked in and took some pics and then walked back ou. We went and visited Heathers work it was really raelly busy. THen we went on our mission to find TJ. He was a nice black man, who loved us. lol. He gave us tickets for an hour boat tour. Then since me and CC didnt hav metro cards anymore, him and his friend walked us down to the station and swiped theirs for us. lol. we were off to south seaport. It is a pier and also has a mal next to it. We got off at the wall street stop on the subway. So i took some pictures with the sign. we didnt see the exchange though, oh well, next time. WE walked to the place and turned our tickets in for real ones and then had about an hour to wait. So in this mall they sell draft beer. Heather went and bought us each a large cup of it for only 5 dollars. We sat out and looked out over the OTHEr river towards brooklyn. You could see the brooklyn bridge and lady lib if you like. It was an awesome place. So then we downed our beers and got in line for the boat ride. We decided to make it into our own Booze Cruise by bringing on our vodka drinks. lol. So we boarded, found our prime seats and poured the vodka. It was yumm, got me a bit tipsy.
