Jelly Boy - Smiling Face
Lately, the new releases haven't been so inspiring, so, I have just stuck to older kmusic. It has been a good decision because I've found some amazing diamonds among coal. I think I should share more and more music but I'm so lazy in making new videos (because a lot of the songs I like don't have videos in youtube), so, I only share when I really like some song.
I didn't instantly fall in love with Jelly Boy. I think, though, that all of his songs have this somehow very psychedelic feeling. I tried his first album and even though I didn't quite fancy it, I went on to try his 2nd album called They Dream Daydream Everyday. I'm glad I did that because this album seems to be a lot more my style!
Smiling Face just oozes that bizarre psychedelia. If I took drugs (which I will never do because music is my drug already) I'm sure I would go into a state of mind like this song has. I don't know why but I picture a music video for this song; there'd be a person going round and round in a disco, closing his eyes and letting himself go with the undescribable feeling. Eventually falling down maybe and ending up to hospital for some reason, haha. But nevertheless, I really fell for this song. Maybe two years ago I would've not liked anything like this but.. Time seems to change my taste in music to even more "bizarre".
