Please help
I know I haven't been a very good LJ friend lately, but I'm going to ask for your help anyway, and hope that you know I'm not purposely being a bad friend.
AC Pup, the Macon Animal Shelter mascot, is currently in second place in the contest at http://www.cutestdogcompetition.com but he is way behind in number of votes. Today is the last day to vote, and he needs all the votes he can get. He is trying to win $1 million in prizes for his pals at the shelter.
Would you please take a few minutes and go vote for him, and pass this on to your friends and ask them to vote, too? You can only vote once on an email, but if you have more than one email, you can vote as many times as you have email addresses (if you're voting from only one computer, you have to wait an hour between addresses...I have 11 emails I'm voting on, so on one computer it takes me 11 hours to vote on them all).

No matter how crazy my life has become to make me a bad friend here recently, I value your friendship and am glad you are in my life. Please help. It would mean saving so many dogs' lives in our area, it would really benefit all the rescues in this area.
