Look what Rick made and put up for me...
I had complained about how expensive rope lights had gotten, and he built this for me. It's on a pulley rope so it can be lowered to change the bulb and then put back up. It's on the timer, too, like the rest of my outdoor lights. This was all his idea, his work in putting it together. I am truly impressed.
And fully dark, it really works well, shedding more light on Harley and Parker's pen than it looks in these last two. I'll be moving the rope light in the pics to the back yard now:
