Such a beautiful disaster ...

Oh, yay. Spring Break is almost over. Not that I don't like having the kids around. I do. Most of the time. And then they start fighting and all my good will goes right out the window. Bloosh. Splat. STOP FIGHTING NOW!

Yeah. It's been a weirdly long week. We haven't done anything, either. Did I mention that two of Cole's friends spent the night the other night and I was ready to bodily throw the entire group of them to a passel of hungry crocs? True story. They weren't doing anything, exactly. They were just being boys. Clomping up the stairs, talking, being stinky. Normal boy stuff. I just reached burn out mode and needed to have some very quiet time in my own house. How sad is that?

I ended up locking myself in my room and staring in pained horror every time I heard someone coming up the stair. True story.

Anyway. Book stuff. And I have a lot of it today. Well, not a lot a lot. But more than one. You'll see.
Book #167 - Undead Much? (Megan Berry 32) by Stacey Jay - I adore Stacey Jay's take on zombies and the people who send them back to their eternal rest. It's breezy, light and fun. Not at all what you'd expect from a book about zombies.
Book #168 - Behemoth (Leviathan #2) by Scott Westerfeld - I LOVE the worldbuilding in this series. It's a steampunk alternative history set during the outset of World War I and it's so fantastically detailed and gorgeous. I'm seriously swooning over it.
Book #169 - Night and Chaos (The Deva Chronicles #1) by Naomi Clark - I loved the mythology behind this but I'm bummed that the author is still writing book #2. I want to know what happens!
Book Blogger Hop, Follow Friday and Tagalong Friday - With only one half-naked man picture this week. I'm sorry. I should have added more.

I'm sure I have things to do. Very important things. Like watch The Vampire Diaries. Seriously.
Later.
