This is hardly the best way to go...

The kids have tomorrow and all of next week off of school. I'm tired just thinking about it. I still have work, which is weird for me because when I was working at the bank I used to take off every school vacation so I could spend time with the beasts. Then I took two years off and I didn't have to worry about coordinating my schedule with theirs. Now that I'm working again it's just odd.

The other day one of my favorite authors... actually, one half of the duo that makes up one of my favorite authors. The author is Moira Rogers and the half is Bree. Does that make sense to anyone besides me? Anyway. Bree tweeted that the main female character in book 6 of a series that I love happened to be mentioned in the first chapter of the first book, although not by name. Being me, I pulled up my copy and searched for it. I tweeted her the part I thought she was talking about, got confirmation and then realized that I had the perfect excuse to re-read the series since it was sitting in my hands. So I read book 1.
Book #158 - Crux (Southern Arcana #1) by Moira Rogers - god, the worldbuilding here is FANTASTIC! There's so freaking much depth to it that it makes me blink in awe. Complete love, guys. Complete love.

Randomly, Cassandra Clare tweeted a link to my review of her book City of Fallen Angels and it kinda gives me a warm glowy feeling to know that the author has read what I wrote. It's just...cool.

Okay. I'm done with this tonight. I'm going to sleep in tomorrow and be a lazy slug once I get up. True story.
I'm out.
Later.
