It's not what you do ...
People. I got up early so that I could get in both my daily journal and my daily non-journal writing before the wackiness that is today begins.
Just so you can see how jam packed my day is ...
I have to pick up Cole by 8 from his dad's so that we can be down in Gilroy by 9 for Hailey's soccer game. After the game, we're meeting the extended family back at our house so that we can head over to the pumpkin patch en masse. Then, we come back home and have a late lunch for Heather's birthday (which is today). We're going to do the whole present opening thing and all the other stuff that goes along with birthdays. Somewhere between the pumpkin patch and lunch, I have to bake two batches of brownies because that's what H wanted in lieu of a cake. Warm brownies with vanilla ice cream on top. Crowned with a goodly dollop of chocolate syrup. It's kinda like a molten lava cake, but better. You know, because it's homemade.
There you have it. Lots of stuff. Lots and lots of stuff. All fun, mind you, but just one thing after the other.
I'm pleased to announce that I did get a page on my SPN fic done last night. Writing at night is a lot harder for me. I much prefer writing in the morning and relaxing with some mindless TV in the evening.
One more thing, then I have to get working on my fic. The field trip to the apple farm was FUN yesterday. Cold, but fun. I had some of the best apple cider I've ever tasted and I got to help Hailey pick apples off the tree. Awesome.
