How do I take care of this?

Just so I don't forget ...
Book #58 - Dead Man's Folly by Agatha Christie - Another request by oddmonster and we all know that I must bow down before her requests. For once I figured out parts of the mystery before the big reveal. Of course that does mean that I got parts of it wrong. Look, no one's perfect. I got part of it. I really liked this one. It baffled Poirot and it was sufficiently twisty enough to satisfy my mystery craving. Without giving anything away, the only reason I got any sort of inkling as to where this one was going was the use of a certain word/phrase that kept popping up. It made me go Hmmm. And then I started thinking.

This has been a crazy busy weekend. With my aunt and uncle in town we spent the bulk of our time out and about. We spent Friday at my grandma's. Swimming, eating, visiting. We spent Saturday in Gilroy at my other uncle's house with everyone and his menagerie of animals. FYI, the Gilroy Garlic Festival was this weekend. There were a lot of cars heading down that way. Anyway. Bailey loved having an entire backyard (which is HUGE) to run around in. Today we went back up to my grandma's for more swimming and lunch at the clubhouse.

I'm exhausted.

Everything's back to normal tomorrow. All the stray relatives are heading home and the kids and I will be back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Speaking of the kids, I picked up school supplies for Cole today. Paper, notebooks, pencils, pens ... the works. It's crazy to think that in a little over 3 weeks they're back to school and I can put myself on a serious writing schedule. I'm looking forward to it. That means that I'll start up my movie reviews again. Simply because I'll be watching movies that aren't all family movies. Or animated movies. Or movies with talking dogs in them. This is a very exciting moment in my life.

Okay. back to my book now.
Later.
