This is where we show the best of ourselves ...
I accomplished my goal of taking a nap today. In fact, I took two. I'm an overachiever like that. I napped while watching SG1 on Sci-Fi this morning (Okay, fine! That first nap took place around 9 because I'm really getting tired of waking up before 6 every day and felt like I deserved a nap that early.) and then again while Cole was watching the original Terminator movie (which I've watched twice in the last week-ish).
I got some good news today. First off, we'll have our home phone and internet connected at the house by the end of next week. I'm not sure why we were being asked to hook it up early, but it's done. We also have an appointment on Friday for the first walk-through. The second takes place about 3 days before we can move in so this is very exciting. It actually feels like it's going to happen. Not that it didn't before, but now ... awesome!
Did I mention that I watched SCC again? Yeah. I did. I still kinda wish that Derek and Sarah would have more interactions (of the sweaty, dirty type), but I'm dealing with my disappointment. I'm also not certain how I feel about Shirley Manson. I think I like her, but something about her kinda bothers me. I can't pinpoint what. I do, however, dig John's new hair. It makes him look tougher. John Connor needs that.
