excuse me while I cut off some finger
So, I awoke today...after sleeping in (a big treat). I got an e-book about healthy eating and found some diet ideas. I went to Publix and got lots of healthy food. Came home, ate fruit...and started to prepare soup. I cut celery, green onions, green peppers and then came the carrots.
Slice...chopped off a small portion of the side of my left index finger, including some nail. I called Mike and he told me to keep it elevated and wrap it...apply pressure etc. He came over and it continued to bleed a lot. I decided I wanted to go to the ER...so we went. Until it was unwrapped I had no idea that the nail was involved. I got it numbed and then they had me soak it in this liquid (can't recall the name)...and then they put some stuff on it to help the bleeding stop. It's too wide to stitch so it was wrapped up with a brace type thingy and voila...What a day. So basically it's cut on an angle so it will definitely be strange. I did save the "piece" of me...heh...later I did see the nail.

I will finish the soup tomorrow. VERY carefully.
