I've been looking at colleges recently and it scares me to death. I'm not ready. I'm young. I've just started life! 16's really not that old; only one decade and then some. . . actually, I don't think it's the concept of going away to school that bothers me. It's just that with admissions offices, applications, roommates, etc. looming in the distance, I feel like I'm changing everything in my life to please Big Brother. I have to take Spanish my Junior and Senior years to meet admission requirements. That may not seem like a big deal, and yeah, I was planning on taking a little espanola at some point, but just the fact that I don't have a choice in the matter anymore is frustrating, perplexing, frightening, INFURRIATING...
Everything will work out fine, I know, but since I don't have the power of God, I can't see the silver lining. Heck, I can't even see the laces on my shoes, right now! *sigh*
Like everyone else has said: YAY for spring break! I do have an entire research paper to do in that time...but hey... let's focus on the good, right? (I'm sure you'll all hear about it later so end of that story).
