Summary: Gin meets up with his old boss/friend/overlord for lunch.

Aizen's expression shifted to one of cool amusement. It had been a while since Gin had someone to play with. (Not counting his current secretary, of course, but apparently even poor Izuru was not enough to keep Gin wholly entertained.)

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. I know I don't have to warn you about being too obvious."

There was no questioning in his tone. He spoke with full confidence in Gin's ability to walk a thin line, sewing dissent and drawing vague suspicions, without leaving anything concrete in his wake to incriminate him. Gin was the best personal assistant Aizen had ever had.

Which reminded him... Hinamori was on the other side of the door, neat little fingernails clacking away at the keyboard, ever the diligent worker. Going out was a good idea. There was a charming irony in plotting against Yamamoto when the man was one floor up, literally right above them. But right at this moment, it somehow seemed crass.

Aizen pushed his chair back just a bit, and stood, leaning forward toward Gin for the briefest moment before straightening up.

"That's a good idea. It's getting a bit stuffy in here."

Now he was all warmth and amiability. Years of hard-earned self control kept him from directing a glare at the ceiling. He'd be in that office when the time was right.
