[Log] Collision Course (Status - Incomplete)
Characters: Ishida Uryuu & Ishida Ryuuken
Location: Employee Parking Lot/Main Entrance
Date: Thursday, August 2nd
Rating: PG for possible language and general snarkiness
Summary: Rain slick pavement and two Ishida's in a hurry makes for a nasty combination.
Ryuuken was not having a good morning. Apparently while he slept there had been some sort of a power outage, leaving his alarm clock to reset itself and he was now fighting the morning rush hour, having overslept from his normal 5:00am wake up to somewhere closer to 9:00. In his rush he couldn't indulge in his morning routine, thusly he was just all out of sorts. He didn't have the time to re-iron his clothes, he couldn't find that particular tie that matched the rest of his outfit just so, he did not get to have that crucial cup of coffee that completed his 'waking up' ritual, just everything was off kilter.
Add in the horrific weather and it was just all in all a peachy-fucking-keen type of day and the watch hands were just now touching nine o'clock.
Ryuuken tore into the parking lot of SSI, not particularly caring about whoever it was he just cut-off, whipping into a parking spot (somewhere towards the rear of the lot of course). Snatching his briefcase off the passenger seat, he cursed violently, suddenly realizing that he left his umbrella sitting by the doorway back home. He took a moments pause to glare at his windshield, at the current torrential downpour that distorted his view of his office building and toyed with the thought of just turning around and going back home. It would probably be for the best, there would definitely be far fewer bodies littered around his office door then if he were to stay. Sadly he wasn't wired that way, he just couldn't allow himself the frivolity of a mental health day (if he started such a thing, he'd forever be out on mental health leave).
Tightening his grip on his briefcase he ripped open the door and made a mad dash for the main entrance.
