"What you did, for me, and Dawn... that was real. I won't forget it."

Five. It was their first real kiss, and it was sweet and unexpected. And I think this is the first time Buffy truly realizes that Spike cares about her and her sister. Buffy goes in there to dig for information and leaves with a new respect for him.

"But it hurts?"
"Yeah."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."

Four. This is how I wish all post break-up scenes would look. It's sweet, sort of awkward and bittersweet. Spike has accepted the end of their relationship but getting some acknowledgement that the pain isn't one-sided makes it bearable. Spike attempting to make her jealous, and Buffy confessing it's working a little, and he responds by saying, "I'm sorry", and then remembers that he's supposed to be mad at her and rushes out with "Or, Good!". It's adorable even when it's probably not supposed to be.

"I've lived for soddin' ever, Buffy. I've done everything. I've done things with you I can't spell…
but I've never been close… to anyone. Least of all you. Until last night. All I did was hold you,
watch you sleep… and it was the best night of my life. So yeah, I'm terrified.
"You don't have to be."

Three. The delivery of this scene gives me goosebumps. Spike lays everything out on the table and is rewarded for it. At first they downplay what happened the night before, but Buffy breaks down his defences and he opens up to her like never before. Not only that, but instead of getting his expected result he receives a glimmer of reciprocation that gives me chills.

"You've got another demon fighter now."
"That's not why I need you here."
"Is that right? Why's that then?"
"'Cause I'm not ready for you to not be here."

Two. The major "awww" moment where my heart just melts. Buffy's last line is so simple in its explanation, but yet so beautiful and true to the development of the rebuilding of friendship and trust between them in season 7. They've gone through the worst of a destructive relationship together, relying on each other for all the wrong reasons, and they've come out of it strong, relying on each other as equals.

"A knife, now, is it? What'll...what'll that...you-you can't hurt me. You're
just a bloody figment, you are. You're just... You. Oh."

One. Personally, I think she left him rotting down there a little too long, but the look on her face when she cuts him free and he realizes that it's really her and she came for him, more than makes up for it. It's a beautiful moment that requires no words at all.

the end.
