RENDEZVOUS
we never thought it would happen till we touched
we blended together like wine on a cold night
sweet to the taste
warm to the memory
cause that night , for that moment, we made two lives become one
two bodies submerged into the night we rose from our primal lust
like the sun on the horizon
while the smell of our affairs lingered in the air
like insense, adjectives, and verbs from a poem
we gave each others being, meaning.
our lives enriched by the fact that we crossed paths as strangers in the light
and lovers in the night
lies told to protect lustful lives
this new life we birth was as sweet as the taste of first sin
cause on that night your skin was as sweet as an apple
an at that second, at the tic of a clock
