because I've bascially been listening to both cds on repete for the last half hour (i'm only half joking!)
Sequence meditation:
Considering it's one big synth solo I feel its a little unfair to have it listed and labled as 'axs' but that's just me nitpicking! If you have not heard this solo do so! It's truly Daisuke at his very, very best...also it's rather addictive and bouncy thus has jiggling/humming/fast driving potential, something that is a huge plus in my books!!
Future in Blue:
Another Rin solo cd, another step further in love with the skiny one! The piano passion featured in 'mada minu kisetsu' has me so in love with this CD that it's not funny and then there's the the sex noise, Rin talking, amazingness of 'Rizmu' and the total Iceman style rip off of 'Spiral Century'!
Truly my number one as far as Rin solo stuff goes (which is saying something consider how much I love 'In Depth')
as to the aforementioned songs...
'mada minu kisetsu'...
I have a soft spot for that big, empassioned, concert piano sound, this is why I love such artists as Vinnea Teng and Sarah McLaughlin. Thus to hear it combined with Rin's vocal...total, watch me melt into little puddle, love!
'Rizmu'...
If you like Rin then listen to this song! It has groaning, moaning, Rin having some form of empassioned soliliquie and a broody, moody, feel that sends shivers up the spine!
'Spiral Centry'...
It has synth, it has a sticatto crying guitar sound, it has played around with vocals...basically it's Iceman without Kenichi and Dai-chan. Listening to this song I couldn't help but feel that it would have sounded so much better if Ken had been on guitar and Dai on synth..there's just something dead about this sort of sound comming from Rin's 'band' (not that the guys aren't ammazing, it's just they aren't quite DA or KI). Putting this awful Iceman bias to one side I do like the bouncy feel of the music and it gives me winking Rin mental images that are allways good!!
