so lessons happened. They were epic. There was luch at a resteraunt who's name translates as 'surprised gorilla' oh and aparently donkey=gorilla in Japan...lolwut?!?
Then I went up to the Aeon mall and into their mini tower records. No Vanilla sky.
Oh Always was there all 'hiiiiiiiiiii I'm Always and you totaly bought me last year :3' but that was it. I checked the new section. Nope. In desperation I went and checked the rock section. Nope.
Ok...so maybe one of the other CD shops will have it
20 minutes and some very blistered feetsies later...nothing. Zip. Nada.
This after I found a store selling the most randomist stuffs ever (litterally everything BUT Rin stuffs it seemed) and that catalouged using Katakana so I was all "ummmm Ku is the one that looks like a sort of slanty 7...great and now I've forgotten the order they list all these things...a-i-u-e-o-ka-ki-ku...ahha there you are...ok now kuro is...ect, ect..."
Oh and I ended out in a Bookoff staring at the largest anime toy collection I've seen outside of the Ikbukuro Animate and reciting my "spare money is for fun Tokyo things...spare money is for fun Tokyo things..." mantra over and over!
Eventually, sore like you would not believe, hot as heck and ladened down with this a few more weeks worth o' breakfast I gave up....which made me miserable because I so wanted a physical copy o' the album and BEFORE the concert so that I could attempt some form of acurate set list..
By the time I got back 'home' I'd decided to see how much buying it online was and, if that proved steep, finding directions for the Tower Records in Nagoya.
HMV Japan not only had the extended version on 'sale' but because I'm currently in Japan shipping's free.
Thus I now have a copy on rout...expect photos when it appears!!
and in less whineyness have some pictures:
my first Chawanmushi ever and mannnnnnnnnnnnn was it tasty. I mean salty fish = yum + eggy custard = yum + salty broth = nom nom nom...indeed even typing about it is making my tumble rumble!!
In which I achieve a fairly servicable Ikibana style flower arangement...though NB this is free form, I'm sure it breaks like 200 traditional ikibana rules!! (oh and the chap on the other side is Tony an ausy who's been trudging through all of this with me the last few weeks!!)
Matcha <3 and OMG Matcha rice crispy thingy which was to die for let me tell you!!
where the Matcha was born! This was such a lovely field it really was...indeed this whole tour was a great one with many laughs and a mini family run resteraunt at the end of it!!
oh and PS:
Have died hair using a Japanese hair dye. Photo of this at some point tomorrow (hopefully with a ticket, though not counting chickens just yet!!)
